We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung as the Traditional Custodians of Garambi Baan (Laughing Waters) and we thank the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation for their ongoing support and partnership. We acknowledge Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung practices of caring for Country over tens of thousands of years and we acknowledge the particular significance of Garambi Baan and the Birrarung as a whole living entity and a part of a living cultural landscape.

Garambi Baanj/Laughing Waters Cultural Precinct

InPlace developed and now operates the new Garambi Baanj/Laughing Waters Cultural Precinct, this precinct represents our primary permanent project at this time.

Boorhaman Residency Program

The Boorhaman Residency Program operated between 2017-18 and led to the establishment of Residency Projects Inc., which was replaced by InPlace in 2021, marking major changes and an expansion in the organisation’s scope.
